Mini-Breaks and Stretching with Ergo Putty

These are a few exercises and stretches that you can do at work along with mini breaks to help you to reduce stress, strain, and injury on the job.

 

Putty Roll

On table top, roll putty into long, thin tube as shown. Repeat several times and then repeat with the other hand.

 

Finger adduction

Place putty between fingers as shown. Squeeze fingers together and hold for a few seconds. Repeat with the other fingers and then repeat with the opposite hand.

 

Finger abduction

Loop putty around fingers as shown. Separate fingers slowly
And hold for a few seconds. Repeat with the opposite hand.

 

Lateral/key pinch grip

Hold putty between the right thumb and finger as shown. Squeeze as firmly as you can and repeat with the other hand.

 

Pinch grip

Hold putty between the right thumb and tip of finger as shown. Squeeze the putty and hold for a few seconds. Repeat with the other fingers and then repeat with the other hand

 

Hand squeeze

Hold putty as shown and squeeze as firmly as you can.
Hold for a few seconds and repeat with the other hand.
